Squirrel Family Tree is a heartwarming story about a family of squirrels who are trying to find their way back home. Along the way, they learn about the importance of memory, nature, and grace.
The story begins with a young squirrel named Little Nut. Little Nut is lost and alone in the forest. He doesn't know where his family is, or how to get back to them.
Little Nut meets many different animals along the way, each of whom helps him in a different way. One animal gives him food, another gives him shelter, and another gives him directions.
As Little Nut travels through the forest, he learns about the importance of memory. He remembers the way his family used to talk to him, and the way they used to play together.
Little Nut also learns about the importance of nature. He sees how the trees and the flowers provide food and shelter for the animals in the forest.
Finally, Little Nut learns about the importance of grace. He meets a wise old owl who tells him that the most important thing is to keep going.
Little Nut takes the owl's advice to heart, and he keeps going. He finally finds his way back to his family, and they are all overjoyed to see him.
