About the Author
Bachar Karroum is a Syrian-American author and illustrator. He is the author of several children's books, including Awa Visits Grandma, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and The Little Red Hen. Karroum's books have been translated into several languages and have been enjoyed by children all over the world.
Karroum was born in Syria and immigrated to the United States with his family when he was a child. He grew up in a small town in Michigan, where he developed a love of reading and writing. Karroum attended college in Michigan and earned a degree in art. After college, he worked as a graphic designer and illustrator before becoming a full-time author.
